We are pleased to offer our guests, tour bookings for the famous scenic Kuranda Railway, Skyrail and the Undara Lava Tubes.

We offer all our guests  DISCOUNT VOUCHERS for many of the local wineries, coffee plantations (some offer free tastings!) and local tourist attractions.  Ask at Reception for an ITINERARY AND TABLELAND MAP so that you can make the most of all that this beautiful region has to offer.

The Barron Valley Hotel, full of local history and serving great meals for all the family is pleased to offer our guests a free drink when dining.  Make sure you collect your voucher from Reception.

OTHER FACILITIES IN OUR PARK:

New to the Park in 2008 is the beautiful Balinese Cabana at the front of the Park furnished with balinese furniture and BBQ, creating a peaceful place to relax or watch the children in the Pool.  An adventure playground has also been added. 

Noodles are available in the pool area.

A DVD player is available for hire with a selection of childrens and family DVD's & videos available.

All Villa style accommodation now has Austar.

A selection of "Streets"ice-creams are available from Reception.

DON'T FORGET, we have free wireless internet through the entire Park for those travelling with their own laptop.  An Internet Kiosk is also available in the Laundry.

WHAT'S COMING:

Massage is now available in the Park.  A Relaxation Masseuse will gladly travel to our Park.  A one hour massage is $60.00. Our Masseuse is happy to lower the price if more than one massage is booked.  You can have your massage either in your cabin or van or in the Cabana, whereever you wish.

   BIG4 ATHERTON IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY:

BIG4 Atherton Woodlands Tourist Park proudly supports the township of Atherton and our local region, in many areas, including:

* Sponsorship for the annual Maize Festival

* Provision of a trophy for the BMX Club (Atherton & regionally)

* School events and fundraisers

We also support visits to the Park and the use of our facilities by local schools and support many of the local businesses.

May:  We were delighted to host Tom Williams and the crew from Great Outdoors and the show aired in June

August: We hosted free outdoor concerts for our guests, with several wonderful entertainers who have promised to return next year

September: Winners of the Tableland Regional Council Commercial Garden of the Year

October: We were very proud and excited to win the grand prize of all:

 2008 Tourism Tropical North QLD Tourist & Caravan Park Award

We were also very honored in October to be nominated for the 2008 BIG4 Supreme Award for Excellence
